The "Future is Open" educational NGO organized small refreshments and visits for the children of orphanages and special type schools from November 10 to 20. The goal of the events was to motivate the kids to study well and become exemplary citizens.

The immense joy and excitement of the children can not be described by words. The organization's volunteers do their best to motivate the children, so that their attention is focused on education, the importance of receiving new knowledge and conviction, that the future of Armenia is, indeed, open because of the erudition, hard work and belief of its citizens.

On September 22 the children had a meeting with Dutch painter Ralf Haynen. Mr. Haynen told the children about his motherland - Holland. How surprised the children were when they found out about his peculiar works, the inspiration for which comes from Armenian unique churches - the architectural masterpieces of the first Christian country. So much excitement there was in the children's eyes, so much pride towards their motherland, which could inspire the foreign talented artist.

The feeling of deep love towards their motherland and amazement towards the beautiful works of the Dutch painter remained in the hearts of the children after the meeting, together with the conviction in the fact, that through education and hard work it is possible to achieve really great heights.

On September 13 the "Future is Open" educational NGO started the educational program of the first semester of its 7th educational year. The children of orphanages, special type schools and needy families participate in the lessons, which take place every day, except for Sundays.

It's so amazing to see the success, that the organization achieved in the sphere of education during these 7 years - children, who once could not read Armenian, are reading and writing now; children, who once did not know English/Russian, can read and even write in that languages. The list of these achievements can be continued, and you can get sure in that yourself by your participation.

The educational programs planned for the new educational year have already been launched and have their success. The volunteers of our team realize lessons of humanitarian subjects, as well as classes of general development of the children, sports classes and events.

On June 27 a sightseeing tour was organized for more than 70 children from orphanages, special schools, and blind youth withtin the frames of the "Future is Open" educational NGO's summer programs. We express our appreciation to all our volunteers and supporters who are donating their time and efforts for the complex development of our little sisters and brothers: all of this is possible because of you.

Do you imagine what it means to give love and warmth to a disillusioned and wounded child? He needs hope. He must be convinced that he deserves and can achieve more.

Do you imagine the situation of the young volunteer who tries to help that child?... who must overcome the child's distrust and apathy, help him get knowledge, and prove that the future is really open for him.

But all of this has a great value, because as the result of this complex, delicate and enduring process, our country gains one more worthy citizen.
